UPDATE:The 3DS Virtual Console is not Available at Launch

UPDATE: IGN has updated the lauch guide and have clarified that the Virtual Console will NOT be available at launch.

According to the 3DS launch guide over at IGN it is. The latest news is that the virtual console will be available sometime in May after a system update. Is it possible though that IGN knows something that we don't?

From IGN: It's important to note that some of these features, most notably the Virtual Console/e-Shop idea, will not be available out of the box, but will need to be downloaded from a Wi-Fi connection. We have contacted IGN and have asked them to clarify. Hopefully we will get a response and can update soon.
