Finally A News Report About The 3DS And Eye Damage Gets It Right

News report after news report about the 3DS and the potential for eye damage, always seems to leave out one simple fact; there is no evidence and the statement released by Nintendo is just a precaution. myfoxboston, a Fox News Network Affliliate, finally got it right.

The warning reflects a cautious tone toward the technology since there is no medical evidence to support the idea that 3D content may hinder children's eye development.

"There are no reasons to feel scared about 3D," said Hiroyasu Ujike, a visual scientist at Japan's National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology.

Samsung, Sony and other electronics companies have issued similar warnings on their 3D products.
