The 3DS To Use Different Play Points Than The DS

Apparently, the Play Points you currently may own on your DS system will not be compatible with the 3DS. So if you have any saved up Play Points, might as well use them now instead of saving them.

According to Kotaku.com, Nintendo notes, "Prepaid Nintendo point cards cannot be used with the Nintendo 3DS. Prepaid point cards that can be used with the 3DS will go on sale at a later date."
